Sitting
A journey while sitting “Shiv’ah”
The event in “Sitting” explores the status of the “Shiv’ah” ritual according to Jewish Law and tradition. A theatrical investigation of the custom of “Comforting the Mourners,” from the point of view of Israeli society.
An experience offering a glimpse into the living world of those who “sit” within the living world of a dead person.
“…Theatre, in order to become alive, must go out of itself and stop being Theatre…”
