Also Thus!
Public Movement
Coproduced with the Acco Theatre Center's Incubator for Dance
Public Movement is interested in the political and aesthetic possibilities that exist in a group of people acting together. Public Movement studies and produces public choreographies, forms of social order, overt and covert rituals in the public sphere. Past and future activities of the movement: demonstrations of presence, fictional acts of hatred, new folk dances, marches, processions, spectacles, synchronized procedures of movement, inventing and reenacting moments in the lives of individuals, peoples, states, and of humanity. Public Movement was founded in November 2006 by Dana Yahalomi and Omer Krieger. The movement has since taken responsibility for the following actions: Accident (2006), Ceremony (2007), The Israel Museum (2007), and The Har Herzl Attack: a reenactment of the terrorist attack on Mount Herzl (upcoming).
